Tom helping fix a kid's bike
It is with great sadness that I write this. I received news this morning that Tom Rounds, one of our friends and dedicated volunteers, died suddenly last night at home. While Tom has not been around RBH much the last few months due to some family things, he had been a very regular volunteer since we got the indoor space on North Washington Street. He was a knowledgeable mechanic with years of experience, especially on older bikes. It was always fun to talk to him about older bikes and bike tech from "back in the day." Even before Tom became a volunteer for RBH, he would periodically stop by our setup at the Farmer's Market to help and he was a regular at our "as is" sales, always looking for that "n+1" bike! Tom will be missed. Our thoughts go out to his family.
